The Blind Seaker

Where do you find contentment? Where do you find value? I often find myself being distracted by the wants, desires, and idols of this world. I seem to be always seeking the next big thing that would seemingly fulfill my life. It's only when I remember who God is and his love that I find contentment and peace. When I seek out worldly pleasures I am never, and will never be satisfied. I am only filled when I fully trust in and love God above all things. Where are you spending your time and efforts searching? Keep your live free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you. - Hebrews 13:5

Resilient Forgiveness

I once heard a preacher say that holding hate and anger towards someone is equivalent to drinking poison and hoping harm comes to the other person. Even when we are meditating and praying everyday, it can be easy to hold grudges, hate another, and refuse to forgive someone who has harmed you. God longs for us to forgive others as he has forgiven us despite all of our faults. If you are holding onto any hate, anger, and lack of forgiveness, pray and keep praying for these to be lifted from your heart.
