Who do you SEAK

Life is challenging. Things are thrown at us in ways we least expect. In order to prepare ourselves for those times we need to have things or people to look to. First you should always look towards God, who has a plan and knows what you’re going through. Next, you should look towards the people around you. Surround yourself with Godly people who are there to pick you up when you’re down, to be a shoulder to cry on and comfort you when you need it most. If we do this even the most challenging times will be a little easier. Proverbs 27:17 says “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another” and Proverbs 29:7 says “a sweet friendship refreshes the soul.” Choose people to call your frien

The Sovereign Light

One of the most challenging and dangerous dives in the scuba world is cave diving. A diver's skill in using guide lines and dive lights could mean life or death in an area completely void of light. Often in life, we feel like we are swimming in this cave, void of light or guide lines. We feel lost, upside down, and without hope. Luckily, our God has provided us with an ever present guide line and source of light. This is the living word provided to us in the Bible (the guide) and Jesus Christ (the light). When you feel disoriented, lost, and without hope, look to the word and seek the light. It's not always easy, sometimes the darkness of the world feels overwhelming and all seems lost

Precious Moments

If you are a basketball fan or love college basketball you might know who I’m going to talk about. He was a player, coach and broadcaster. He is more commonly known as one of the most positive people anyone knows. His name is Jim Valvano or Jimmy V. In his famous ESPY speech he grabbed the hearts of so many and inspired so many more. He spoke about how precious time is. And he said “I got one last thing, I urge all of you, to enjoy your life, the precious moments you have. To spend each day with some laughter and some thought, to get your emotions going.” He spoke about how important it is to live and not just be living and how important it is to enjoy the time you have. He said “There are

Spare Air

Your single most important piece of Scuba gear is the spare regulator on your octopus. Not only is it invaluable to you in case your primary regulator goes out, but, more importantly, it is invaluable to your dive buddy in the event they run out of air. As a body of Christ, it is our job to lift each other up, and provide that needed air when our brothers and sisters are struggling. For this month's fundraising message, we ask you to bless us with donations so that we may provide air to those whom we are lifting up in the name of Christ. A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.- Proverbs 11:25 To donate, please follow the link below: https://www.seakers.
