Board of Directors
Board Chairman: Kevin Nosalek
Kevin Nosalek has been a part of SEAKERS Aquatic Adventures since its inception. Alongside Shannon McAteer, he has helped grow the organization from a small group at Crossroads Church to a North Carolina non-profit organization. But, it is not only the organization that has grown. As part of SEAKERS, Kevin has continued to develop his diving resume to better meet the needs of
the group. In 2017, he completed his NAUI Divemaster certification. Currently, he is working to complete his NAUI Instructor rating. In addition to assisting SEAKERS' students during their certification dives and mentoring certified divers to further develop their skills, as a technical diver, Kevin also enjoys cave diving and recently completed his training in closed-circuit rebreather diving on the Poseidon Se7en. Kevin’s wife, Amanda, is a North Carolina law enforcement officer. Together they have two children, Samantha and Colby. Both Amanda and Samantha became certified divers through SEAKERS. Eight-year-old Colby is counting down the days till his 10th birthday when he can also earn his NAUI certification. Professionally, Kevin works as a pilot for the world’s largest operator of private jets. In 2015, he earned a master of art in English from East Carolina University.
