Board Chairman: Kevin Nosalek
Kevin Nosalek has been a part of SEAKERS Aquatic Adventures since its inception. Alongside Shannon McAteer, he has helped grow the organization from a small group at Crossroads Church to a North Carolina non-profit organization. But, it is not only the organization that has grown. As part of SEAKERS, Kevin has continued to develop his diving resume to better meet the needs of
the group. In 2017, he completed his NAUI Divemaster certification. Currently, he is working to complete his NAUI Instructor rating. In addition to assisting SEAKERS' students during their certification dives and mentoring certified divers to further develop their skills, as a technical diver, Kevin also enjoys cave diving and recently completed his training in closed-circuit rebreather diving on the Poseidon Se7en. Kevin’s wife, Amanda, is a North Carolina law enforcement officer. Together they have two children, Samantha and Colby. Both Amanda and Samantha became certified divers through SEAKERS. Eight-year-old Colby is counting down the days till his 10th birthday when he can also earn his NAUI certification. Professionally, Kevin works as a pilot for the world’s largest operator of private jets. In 2015, he earned a master of art in English from East Carolina University.
Board Member: Brandon Williamson
Brandon Williamson has been in local law enforcement since 2006. He has been diving since 2011. Brandon always wanted to be a scuba diver but didn't get started with it until later in life when he had the opportunity. For Brandon,
diving opens another world that most humans will not ever be able to see. SEAKERS means a lot to Brandon because it brings people together for a good cause under a common interest that everyone can enjoy. Brandon says that SEAKERS is fellowship at its finest.
Board Member: Col. Bill Bickel
Bill Bickel earned his first scuba rating in 2017 at the age of 67. After participating in his first SEAKERS dive event, he quickly gained a passion for the organization and its mission. Not only has his dedication to the organization led him to join the SEAKERS leadership team, he has also added Nitrox and Advanced Diver certifications to his resume.
Bill served 38 years in the United States Army both as an active duty officer and as a reservist, retiring as a Colonel. Prior to going to active duty, he worked as a Special Agent for the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation. Since retiring from the Army in 2008, he works as a Lead Associate for Booz, Allen, Hamilton where he leads numerous programs and projects. He holds Bachelor, Master of Education, and Master of Strategic and International Affairs degrees.
Bill believes strongly in the goals and milestones of SEAKERS as a Christian ministry and sees the ability to use scuba diving as a vehicle to touch people with God’s magnificent underwater creations.

Board Member: Bryan Brashear
Bryan Brashear began diving with SEAKERS in 2015 when he and his wife, Kerry, decided to become certified divers. He instantly fell in love with not only the sport of diving, but, also, the vision for impacting the community that was just
forming at that time. As the organization’s vision became more focused on youth, public service, and sharing God’s love, Bryan saw it as opportunity to serve.
Bryan’s professional experience is broad and has spanned education, finance and business. He currently works for Duke Energy, working with municipal customers on the company’s non-regulated business offerings. Prior to joining Duke Energy, Bryan worked for Cabarrus County Schools in an administrative capacity and as a classroom teacher. His financial background stems from his professional experience as Senior Financial Consultant for D.A. Davidson & Co., a regional brokerage firm with headquarters in Great Falls, Montana.
While not working, Bryan enjoys spending time with his family, wife Kerry and three daughters, Elle, Easton and Rylynn. They enjoy spending time on the lake with friends and family, entertaining around the grill or smoker and taking every opportunity to get underwater.
