The Speed of Life

Life is so fast. The world never stops spinning and things are thrown at us when we least expect it. I remember one day, when I got the most shocking news, that one of my favorite people in this life, my grandma, had cancer. I was lost. I spent countless nights sobbing and praying in confusion but knew there was only one person, who had and has a plan, was going to get me through this and that was Jesus. On days when you seem to be moving a thousand miles per hour stuck in a never ending cycle of work, school, kids, preparing dinner, grocery shopping, sports and family… Take some time to point your focus to God.

Psalm 61:2 says “When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to a rock that is higher than I.” Find your rock. Seek guidance to get you through your battles one by one. When life hits you hard look to the Lord and when life is kind thank the Lord for everything he has done that has gotten you this far.
