But as for me and my household

We live in a world saturated with idols that take our focus away from the Lord. Families are broken because they have idols before God, such as phones, TVs, self, the list goes on and on. Remember where your family's focus should be, remember who your family should serve. Don't let the idols of this era, or the past, distract you from your savior. Take time as a family to worship and pray together. Let your homes be blessed and filled with the light of Jesus.

"Now fear the Lord and serve him with all faithfulness. Throw away the gods your ancestors worshiped beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord. 15 But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:14-15
