HOPE Academy Try Scuba Adventure Day

HOPE Academy Students and families are invited to particpate in an exclusive HOPE Academy Try Scuba Adventure Experience.  SEAKERS Aquatic Adventures along with Students from HOPE Academy will be hosting the event on September 30, 2022 at Blue Stone Dive Resort in Thomasville, NC. This event will include instruction, diving experience in Blue Stone Quarry and lunch.  Ever wonder what it is like to breathe underwater? Find out in a NAUI Try Scuba Diving Adventure! HOPE Academy Students will receive instruction on safety, diving skills and the science behind Scuba Diving. Each participant will get a chance to scuba dive in the Blue Stone Quarry and experience what it is like breathing while floating weightlessly underwater! Lunch and all scuba diving gear will be provided! In order to particpate in the Try Scuba particpants must be at least 8 years old and be medically qualified to participate.  Anyone is welcome to come and observe the event; but to participate the above is required. Cost of the event is $40.00 which includes the entry fee into the Quarry, instruction, lunch, and all eqiupment for the experience. SEAKERS Aquatic is a Nonprofit 501 (c) (3) Ministry that offers aquatic education, experiences and outreach programs designed to build others up; give them hope; and provide a context for their place in God’s Kingdom. Our outreach targets youths, public servants, disabled individuals, and families. We seek to connect these groups through fellowship, education and shared experiences. SEAKERS provides an inclusive environment where we use the platform of education and experience to develop an ever-growing group of mentors who in turn continue the cycle of assisting and building up others through our outreach programs.
