Ever wonder what it is like to breathe underwater? Find out in a SEAKERS Adventures, NAUI Try Scuba Diving Adventure! Participants will receive instruction on safety, diving skills and the science behind Scuba Diving. Each participant will get a chance to scuba dive at the West Cabarrus YMCA.

About the event
AFJROTC Students are invited to participate in an exclusive SEAKERS Try Scuba Adventure Experience. SEAKERS Adventures will be hosting the event on January 11, 2026 at the West Cabarrus YMCA in Concord, NC. This event will include instruction, and a diving experience at the West Cabarrus YMCA.
Students will meet at Crossroads Church at 10:00 am on January 11, 2026 to get all paper work filled out and to receive the safety instruction and briefing. PARENTS of students are required to be present for this portion of the activity to view a safety video and sign paperwork.
Once the briefing is completed the students will either provide their own transportation or will be transported to the West Cabarrus YMCA where they will participate in the in water portion of the adventure. Students must be picked up from the WEST CABARRUS YMCA no later than 4:30pm.
