SEAking through 2019

Today we begin 2019, a new year with endless possibilities! Many of us use this occasion as a time for ending bad habits, losing weight, making new commitments or bettering themselves in some way. Let us remember, that even more important than these physical changes are the transformation of heart and mind. Let us love more, have more patience, forgiveness and grace. Let us spend more time with family, in the Word and in prayer. These changes will have more impact than losing those pesky 5 pounds and can have positive eternal consequence for you and the ones that you love....and maybe a stranger or two as well!

Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. - Isaiah 43:18-19

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. - 1 Corinthians 5:17

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. - Lamentations 3:22-23
